Parkwood National Historic Site is a Canadian heritage site located in Oshawa, Ontario. The site was originally the summer home of Canadian businessman, Samuel McLaughlin. Parkwood is open year-round for tours and features twenty-two furnished period rooms including a Chinese Chippendale Ballroom, Italian Renaissance Dining Room, Georgian Parlour, and Regency Library. The house is set amidst formal French and English-style gardens, rare trees, and greenhouses.
Regularly scheduled tours are held throughout the year, as well as special events such as murder mystery dinners and holiday teas.
